There are no rigid rules in regard to a woman's attire in the privacy of her home when she is all alone or with her husband, as long as she avoids total nudity. She is allowed to wear shorts and vests. If, however, other male relatives are present, then she ought to observe only partial hijab. In other words, she is allowed to expose her hair, neck, alms, feet, etc.
